These outcomes followed a positive campaign, in which the player advanced into the top 30 globally for the first time for the first time since 2022, concluded with three straight losses. She held three match points then was defeated by Pegula in the third round in last month's Beijing event. Raducanu won 28 matches during 2025 and advanced to the semis in Washington, but her most impressive week was at the Miami Open in March.
