Loyal supporters of the actress are calling for that a man who breached a fence and seized the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or deported from Singapore.

A viral clip depicts the individual from Australia pushing past media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the actors walked down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to attend court on the following morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram account features videos of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney performance in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a punishable act," commented an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Many fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the end of her 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote a further comment on Instagram.

Several fans also criticised event staff at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others called for digital services to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande seemed surprised when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.
