The visionary game developer, the mind behind the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.

The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.

The celebrated video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, according to.
